2023 Walk A Mile In Their Shoes
Join us on Saturday, August 19th for our Annual Walk a Mile In Their Shoes. A March Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. Our Walk this year will combine an IN PERSON RALLY and VIRTUAL Walk a Mile In Their Shoes event! VIRTUALLY-We encourage you to walk a mile, mow the lawn, plant a garden, simply stand, or do anything else in the shoes of your choosing and think about what it feels like to walk in the shoes of a survivor. Share your shoes, stories, and photos with us on our DASAS Walk A Mile In Their Shoes Facebook page. Use the hashtags #DASASWAM2023 and have fun! We will be posting pictures, statistics, and videos throughout the day. We will also be watching the leader board of the top fundraisers! Family, friends, and four-legged friends welcome! Proceeds from the event will go directly to support DASAS domestic violence shelter and supportive services. Each year, DASAS advocates provide life-saving services to over 700 individuals in the community who are impacted by domestic and sexual violence.
